Getting to know Dr. Irene

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with certification through American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). I specialize in treating patients with mental illnesses across the lifespan. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rush University in Chicago, IL, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Bemidji State University. I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Anoka Ramsey Community College and received a Practical Nursing Diploma from Saint Paul College. I also hold a Bachelors’ Degree in African/American Literature from University of Yaoundé in Cameroon. I have worked in inpatient mental health for the past 10 years and in the field of human services for the past 22 years.
